Film auf iPhone/iPod: Wie konvertieren mit VLC?

Ich hab jetzt ca. 10 verschiedene Sachen ergoogelt, 5 Versuche erfolglos hinter mir und bin noch nicht weiter.
Kann mir jemand erklären, wie ich wirklich ein Video ("irgendeines", ~20MB Testvideo, .wmv) auf mein iPhone bringe?

Die mehr oder weniger aktuellste Version vom VLC hab ich installiert (v1.1.1), dazu natürlich iTunes.

Irgendjemand ders schon erfolgreich hinter sich hat?

Ahja, ich bin noch auf WinXP, aber das sollte ja egal sein.

ging nicht wirklich mit dem programm. kam zwar ein mp4-file raus, aber auch itunes kann es schon kaum abspielen und es wird nicht synchronisiert.

ich konvertiere mich meine vids mit ImTOO Video Converter Ultimate und dann ziehe ich sie einfach per itunes in videos bei meinen iphone rüber
