Das war nicht mein Argument, sondern deren, natürlich ist das für die Tonne. Das Rating ist eh Mist, selbst wenn man nur Leute mehrere hundert Punkte unter einem basht, gibt das jedesmal noch signifikant Punkte. Ich verstehe nicht, wie man nach Jahrzehnten RTS sowas immer noch vermasseln kann.

Speaking of working through the weekend, as a community you all were very busy with our first Age of Mythology: Extended Edition event! It only took a few hours to reach 100% event completion, 10 million gold mined across single and multiplayer games. We designed the system to allow for it to continue to grow, but capped it at 1 billion….which only took a few days. There are a few suspiciously high scores in there, but on the whole it’s hard to say the community didn’t blow away our expectations. For future event’s we’ll be tweaking the values slightly, counting tones of materials mined for example. Don’t worry, resource generation isn’t the only event coming down the road, we’ve got a lot more to go.
Because of how successful the event was, we actually need to adjust the badge math some too, so fear not- that’s getting worked on and down the road badges will be automated post event completion dates.

Lustigerweise ging das im originalen AoM noch. Der Online-Modus ist allgemein viel schlechter als der alte von 2002 und der war schon scheiße im Vergleich zu Warcraft 3. Schon ein Kunststück wie man sowas heutzutage noch schaffen kann.Naja, dass sie das mit dem Ranking und dem Teamgame QS nicht hinbekommen (oder hinbekommen wollen) ist wirklich ein Armutszeugnis.

It's in our backlog but I don't have an ETA on if or when we'll have the opportunity to put the time into this feature (it's surprisingly difficult to get running)
