Nah, das halt ich für stark übertrieben.

Normalerweise beansprucht AoE3 bei mir ca. 450MB Ram für ein 1vs1 gegen den PC. Also "erst ab 2GB flüssig" is imo Schwachsinn.

Ich spiels derzeit auf:
Athlon 3000+
Radeon 9800 pro
1280MB Ram

Läuft bei 1280x1024, Max Zoom, 1v1:
Minimalen Details: ~70fps
Max Details: ~20fps

Die Frage für mich ist:

Welche Hardware braucht das Spiel um ein 2vs.2 üers ESO vernüftig Spielbar zu machen?

Hab selbst nen Xp 2400+, R 9800pro und 1024 Ram.

Aber was nützt mich das wenn noch jemand mit nem 1,5 Ghz und 512MB Ram und ner GF 4 TI 4600 im ESO rumgurkt?

Also dein Setup der Hardware kommt meiner auch sehr nahe, die ich dann fuer AoE3 haben werde...

Wie gute/viele Einstellmoeglchkeiten gibts denn bei der Grafik und wie gut siet das ganze noch auf low details aus? Das hat mich z.b. bei aom immer gestoert, nur die wahl zwischen low und high details als grafikeinstellung, wobei auch ein sehr deutlicher unterschied zu sehen war.

Und wie stark veraendert sich das ganze bei mmehr als 2 Spielern?

mein alter 1,2ghz athlon, 256mb sd-ram(!!) hat das mit ner geforce 3 ti200 (!!) noch locker gepackt (flüssiges 3on3), daher nehme ich deinen obigen post mal nicht zuu ernst zant^^

ähm bei aom gabs nicht mal mittel, nur low oder high

E: nur um mal on topic zu bleiben, ich glaube ich werde aoe3 mit 512mb, 2500+ und radeon 9500 nur auf low detail flüssig zocken können

512 mb, ja das wird für nen 4v4 definitiv net reichen, wenn wie plexiq geschrieben hat schon 1v1 gut 400mb frisst.
512mb ist aber auch wirklich mager im vergleich zum rest deines Systems Seraph.
Kostet auch nur gut 50€ so nen weiteren 512 mb riegel hinzuzukaufen, lohnt sich auch sonst allemal

Glaube nicht das du mit der Geforce 4 MX AOE III spielen kannst da es ganz klar auf Direckt X 9 setzt und das deine Grafikkarte nicht unterstützt.

Hi,
also hier die Graphic-Settings von Age3.
Die meisten der Settings haben 5 Stufen: Off/Low/Medium/High/Very High

Mit den Settings von unten, und low-midmap-level-Detail in den GrafikTreiber-Optionen hab ich ca 70fps. Mit allem enabled/highest und höchster Midmap-LvL Detail Einstellung ca. 20fps (bei gleicher Auflösung).

naja da man die schatten ganz ausstellen kann wird es wohl oder übel auch mit mx440 und allen sonstigen Karten laufen, wäre auch nicht wirklich gut von ES es nicht so zu machen

Was mich weit mehr als die Grafikeinstellungen interessiert, ist, wie es sich spielt. Ob es auch einen ähnlichen Suchtfaktor wie AoC erzeugt, oder ob man nach 2 Spielen schone ne längere Pause braucht? Kann man da schon was sagen @ plexiq?

Uff, wie spielt es sich...

Also vom "feeling" her, eher AoC als AoM. Das HomeCity-System gefällt mir ziemlich gut - verstärkt den Suchtfaktor um einiges (jeder der mal Magic gespielt hat, weiss warum

). Bin zuversichtlich, das AoE3 online ne Menge fun machen wird.

Wenns irgendwelche (halbwegs konkreten) Fragen zum Game (oder Screenshot-Requests) gibt - postet mal einfach, ich versuch sie zu beantworten.

Bzw wie funktioniert das mit diesen Sets?
Aus wievielen Karten besteht ein Set? Wie komme ich an diese Karten durch Exp.?

Kann ich mehrere Sets anlegen?
Wieviele Sets kann ich pro Spiel benutzen?
