It's sad that we have to say this, but it's always a few that ruin it for the rest of us.



Restating our ESO Policy for Cheaters and Hackers from 2/12/2004

Abuse of Ensemble Studios Online Service - ESO

Ensemble Studios is announcing that our new policy for Ensemble Studios Online (ESO) is that if a person is found to be abusing the rating system or making other players' online experience less enjoyable, they are likely to have their account rating reset or have their CD-Key banned from ESO permanently.

The appropriate punishment will be administered on a case-by-case basis, but the likely result of cheating or hacking is losing the ability to play via ESO.

In line with our policy above, a few accounts were verified as using the Shade exploit and the corresponding CD keys have been banned from ESO.

Leute für Cheating bannen- ok.
Leute für Benutzen von Bugs,die ES selber verschuldet hat und nun mal deshalb mal ein Teil vom Spiel sind,bannen- nicht ok.

Gutes Argument Fungus, enthält aber einen tragischen Fehler ;) Nur weil ES -versehentlich- einen Bug eingebaut hat, heißt das noch lange nich das man die auch benutzten soll. Die Menschen haben auch Waffe, A-Bomben usw. erfunden, sollte man aber auch nich benutzten :)

war sooo klar, dass du mit mit diesen beispielen kommen musstest (ps: hast gaia noch vergessen ;) )

besser als jetzt, wird es wohl nie balanced sein (auch wenn mercs ziemlich aufn sack gehen können). wenn du dieser meinung nicht bist, dann komm mit uranos oder isis, aber kronos :rolleyes: (da könnte man genauso auch loki, ra etc. als op darstellen)
